I could not help it but introduce you to the trail flail dress....I call her...Adonia.....bless her beautiful textiles....she was a beautiful fleecy scarf before....wore it and it made me feel like a granma....I thought NO..NO...NO...NO..NO....and out came the scissors....

I did this a while ago...so I'm truly sorry I have not got any before pictures...on Adonia...but you may view her in her ambience..she's gorgeous.....

While on my walk on Putney High Street today, I went into one of my favourite shops,,,,a beautiful charity/Vintage shop Trinity Hospice...its very memorable, has effective , tasteful, simple and luxury pieces which create a buzz....and amazing people working in there. When you go in and spend £10, you come out feeling a million bucks...and I am not saying this because of the money factor but because the members of staff are extremely good natured, kind and charming. I found some lovely lovely pieces...I could not help it and had to get them. A pair of sterling silver crystal earrings and a gorgeous maxi black dress(£6)... The dress is by MNG....I think from their 2007 collection and the earrings were real vintage...by annette dean...you will not find these anywhere any more..... so I'm so glad I bought them and they were only £4. If you do want to buy beautiful clothes for a bargain...visit this shop...YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED....I will be featuring them soon on my blog...so look out for some amazing pieces.....xx

The MNG (Mango) dress has a beautiful sort of woven feature at the front and I accessorised it with a golden belt....(It comes with its own belt but I thought colouring it would be better).....

Meet The Etta Dress.....At Last....Yes!!!! I will be cheesy today.....in memory of Etta James...

I am saddened today by the death of Etta James....I guess sooner or later...death is an inevitable consequence of this beautiful life we live. I will be dedicating this dress to her and any dresses I make that look like this....they will be the Etta line/range/trend....Yes!!!!! I will be cheesy...im on cheeseville street.....with my cheeseboard....I loved Etta and if I have to be cheesy to prove it.....I will be doing it full onnnn!!!!

So I had this top that (I do not want to say hideous)...okay it was just a cringe binge...you look at it and think....hell no!!!!.....and as usual....scissors and ideas...here is the top....below,,,speaking for itself....xx

I am all for recycling...I do my bit for the world...okay Im not very very good at washing out tins of baked beans and tinned tomato and rinsing them out and hanging them to dry and then putting them in that orange plastic recycling bag....unnnnnhhhhhh...no Im not....but I am getting there....very slowly....(sorry!!!! to my green peace recycling friends = soon come!!!!). Okay sorry I drifted off there...so I had this cringe tarty top....took my scissors, it became a tank top and I got more confused...because I would not even wear it IN THE HOUSE....goodness me!!!!...okay okay let me get straight to the point...CUSTOMISATION......I had to customise it....can't do the tins...but will do the top....there's my lil bit for the recyclerations......

I had the usual, african fabric, and I made this sort of balloon skirt pumpkin looking thingie.... attached to the top....best won with "over the top jewellery"...if you haven't got the jewellery....over the top lipstick...its up to you.....I believe in clashing or accessorising with over the top jewellery, well I adorned it with a clash tag fringe necklace...meaning = you kinda need to colour block it with a piece of clashing jewellery...that's how I would wear it....xxxx

Think fringe, think benefits....think yetty, dare yourself and go overboard....oh yes....go overboard...

You will not get taxed for wearing this lil thing however...you have to be brave....I saw something similar in the Louis Vuitton spring summer 2009 collection and thought...HULL YESSSS!!!!!. I got the accessories to make this from Mortlake Memoirs...a beautiful rare antique/vintage shop in Mortlake near Barnes....I will post an article soon about this place....its such a unique little shop,,,whatever you find in there..you will never ever find anywhere in the world, I can assure you. Which is why I am of the opinion that you are going to be the only person wearing this.

Afrilove earrings-swarovski crystal glitter

A wee while ago, I found some swarovski crystal glitter in a shop in Portobello and decided to make some Africa earrings.

I sold a couple at an Arts and Crafts fair and they went down pretty well....I absolutely adore the Africa map,,,,if I had the capability,,,,I could make anything out of it...a shoe even!!!! lol...no seriously...I would.....xxx

It could be all about the SeeThrough/Transparent Dress...be brave...be very brave...and DO NOT stand near FIRE....

I must admit...even this was the one project that I thought would never ever work...but I will let the results speak for themselves.

So I posted last week that I was working on the project below (See pictures)

But heyho!!! here goes...I am SOOOOO going to rock this....probably with a bodycon dress or denim leggins and a black top underneath...or something really bright coloured....just to extinguish the feeling and look of pure nakedness...but if you want to be brave...be thy guest....xxxxx
