Anyway....been on the sewing machine again...on a sea food overdose...I mean this fish tail business is rocketing sky high...(I have started inventing words too) rocketing you know!!!! and not the salad rocket...I mean the machine rocket that they claim goes to the moon and all sorts...hmmmmm....so...I managed to dismantle...yes...dismantle an old mangled up dress that would probably have ended up in recycle alley...put the usual suspects (frills) on the arms and kind of around the bust area...to be honest..one has got to be kinda small boned or gutsy to pull this off....It sort of gives you that preggers yummy mummy look...so if you are not baking in your oven...hopefully you have a great explanation or you are at the beach where things can be obvious.....
I do love the dress as it is original chiffon so it flows really well on the body...best won with leggings or shorts....as for my poses...forgive coz one is not great with poses (is this the spelling!!!!!!???) so allow it!!
And for names....(naming the dress I mean...) I thought octopus would do.....the octopus dress...my goodness. ..probably the least fancy name I have come up with but why not???? the world happens to be my ....more sea food business .....(OYSTER......)....xxxx
Excuse the watermarks or wet patches on the dress above...effects of playing with a one year old who is running around with a beaker of water.....xx (PS: and Im not going to be one of those pretentious prim and proper mums who have no stains on their clothes yet they have toddlers...I live in stain land.....xxxx)
Made more african fabric leggings....sort of aztecky feely....but I love them...why the neck do I look preggers in this pic....I AM SO NOT!!!! guess its the flash or something...but...I customised the little jacket I am wearing by addidng an old buttoned up maxi dress to it....and ended up with a sort of maxi jacketey dress (why does the word jacket potato spring to mind....goodness!!!)/////(Thanks Brenda!!!) for the vintage jacket....
Found these gorgeous gorgeous animal print bangles (wood curved) on ebay...the shop is absolutely amazing....they stock fair trade products from Kenya.....love love these...literally cannot get enough of them....xx
